Photo Studio Terms and Conditions

STUDIO HIRE: TERMS, CONDITIONS & LIABILITY

By requesting to hire the Kira Studio Photography Studio you acknowledge and agree to all the terms listed below:.

‍1. Booking:
A booking is considered firm after receiving the full payment. Payment can be made to Kira Studio by Google Pay /  Cash / NEFT

2. Payment & Cancellation:
Studio bookings must be paid for at the time of booking. There is no charge for cancellation, provided at least 72 hours’ notice is given. In the event of cancellation with less than 72 hours, the client will be eligible to reschedule to another date at no extra cost or receive a 50% refund. In the event of cancellation with less than 12 hours’ notice or no notice at all then the client will receive no refund.

‍3. Set Up and Take Down time:
The Client must include set up and take down time within the hours booked, to avoid overtime charges. Overtime will be charged at the ‘Additional hrs rate’

4. Minors:
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must remain within the studio area. The Client must ensure that all persons under the age of 18 have their parents’ or guardian’s permission to be at the studio during the period of studio hire.

5. Models:
Clients are solely responsible for verifying that all models are of the appropriate legal age for the activities they are to be engaged in during the shoot. Kira Studio has no responsibility to determine or verify the age of participants in the Client’s activities, but reserves the right to end those activities, if it becomes aware that legal age violations are being committed.

6. Conduct
‍The Client shall be responsible for the behaviour of any persons accompanying them during the hire of the studio, including anyone not actively participating in the photo shoot. Kira Studio reserves the right to terminate any hire of the studio without notice, if they deem the behaviour to be illegal, inappropriate, unruly, or unsafe. In such instances, Kira Studio reserves the right to charge the full hire cost.

7. Health and Safety
Kira Studio will not be held responsible for any accident or injury caused by the Client or any member of their party, whilst using the studio facilities. Photography shoots or filming that includes the use of paint, flammable material or naked flames will not be permitted. This list is not exhaustive. Clients should consult with Kira Studio prior to any photo or video shoot, if they intend to utilise any additional materials or equipment other than those supplied by Kira Studio.

‍8. Equipment:
All equipment is checked to be in working order prior to the start time of the studio hire. Upon arrival this will be demonstrated to the Client. If the Client has any concerns regarding the equipment these must be made known at the start of the hire period.
Kira Studio agree to provide equipment in good working order, but makes no special guarantees as to said equipment’s functionality or suitability to Client’s purposes. 
The Client may not without the written consent of Kira Studio:
(a) remove the equipment from the studio premises; or
(b) modify, alter, or tamper with the equipment in any way; nor
(c) use the equipment in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer; nor
(d) allow the equipment to be used by any unauthorised personnel.
Equipment must be returned promptly at the end of the hire period in the original condition.

‍9. Breakages, Losses, and Damages:
(a) The Client hiring the studio is responsible for all breakages, losses or damages caused to the studio or
equipment during the use of the studio.
(b) All equipment and services are supplied by Kira Studio entirely at the risk of the Client.
(c) No alterations, decorations or additions to the studio are permitted without the written consent of Kira Studio.
(d) The Client shall pay any costs incurred by Kira Studio arising out of any breach of these conditions. (e) The Client must notify Kira Studio, at the time of hire, if the condition of the equipment is not acceptable.
(f) Kira Studio shall not be liable to the Client for any loss, damage or expense, including loss of profit arising out of following:
(1) any damage to or loss of property by the Client or any third party;
(2) any breakdown, stoppage or failure of the facilities and equipment provided in the studio or
(3) any other equipment supplied to the Client by Kira Studio.

10. Termination:
Kira Studio may terminate any hire contract if the Client shall be in breach of any of the Terms, Conditions and Liabilities as stated above.
